Voice’s Interfaces Prove Their Value as Market Grows
The use of voice interfaces is expanding across the business landscape.
As their underlying technology becomes more sophisticated, AI platforms are becoming more flexible, more knowledgeable and appearing in more places. And, they’re quickly moving out of the “experimental” stage.
Take Taco Bell, for instance. Its AI-driven voice platform has handled some 2 million customer orders, so far. That, says the website PYMNTs, indicates that advanced conversational solutions have become “serious business.”
According to the Business Research Company, the market for voice interfaces will grow at a CAGR of 22.6%, to $69 billion, through 2029. The firm expects to see advancements in NLP, multimodal interfaces and voice-enabled screens, commerce and shopping during the period, as well as voice authentication and security, education and learning.
