Research from McLean & Company indicates that although the function is becoming more strategic, HR must adapt to change if it’s to sustain and grow its strategic relationship with the organization, and demonstrate the value and ROI of HR initiatives.
HR professionals are facing increased economic pressures and a competitive labor market, the report said, while HR's top priority has shifted from recruitment toward developing leaders, retaining employees and managing labor costs.
