Slack’s Changes Indicate a Wider Vision

The Wire: New features indicate the app’s future includes more than communications alone. HR should pay attention.

While Slack is primarily known as a communications solution, the platform also serves as an entry point for a wide range of applications provided by its partners. Qualtrics, Deel, Microsoft and Zoom all offer apps through Slack’s marketplace. That allows users – including HR and talent acquisition professionals – to streamline their workflows by minimizing application switching and do more with a consistent set of commands.
