Employees See AI as a Positive for Their Jobs and Careers

The Wire: As change barrels through the workplace, employees are paying more attention to AI and its impact on their growth.

AI’s impact on their jobs, and its ability to help employees cope with that change, is on the minds of workers around the world.

This comes as the world of work changes dramatically. According to PwC's 2024 Global Workforce Hopes & Fears Survey, nearly two-thirds of global workers, 62%, believe they have experienced more change in the last year than they did the previous year. Forty percent say their daily responsibilities have changed to a large or very large extent.

While they labor to adapt to new ways of doing things, 44% don’t understand the purpose of the changes they see.
