Deel Expands Platform With Acquisition of AI-Powered Zavvy

The Wire: Deel has its eye on employers who have pieced together HR technology stacks using different solutions, and wants to streamline administration and improve efficiency.

Deel acquired Zavvy, a Munich-based solutions provider that helps managers assess team performance and create personalized career-development plans.

On top of performance and compensation analysis, Zavvy offers a library of AI-supported L&D courses. The platform also creates individualized career paths and planning modules. Zavvy’s capabilities will be integrated into a new product suite, Deel Engage, which will be offered at $20 per month. Deel didn’t reveal timing.

Meanwhile, Deel now plans to offer Deel HR, which had been free for up to 200 users, without charge to companies of any size. That, the company said, would make learning management, performance, HRIS capabilities and compliance knowledge available in one place, for one price.
